First time on a dam! it was Awesome! Nature meets Modern industry. Be sure to check this out. Cheap admission. Make sure you go to the east side road in front of frontier hotel because google map will give you direction going to the west side which will lead you to the dam but won't have access there.

Great place for all ages. We went on family day so it was quite busy but the staff were fantastic and there was so much to learn! We spent 4 hours touring and my boys wanted to go back!

For $6 each, you get a 45 minute tour with knowledgeable guides, plus hours more material to go through on your own time. Plenty of interesting exhibits about the wildlife nearby, Indigenous communities, and history and making of the dam. Travelling to an observation tour on top of the dam was a unique experience.

I took my grandson {16}. We both enjoyed the experience. This was a great look at long term green energy. The story that was presented gave us both a strong appreciation for all the work that was necessary to complete this project. It is a worthwhile stop and easy to get to.

I'm biased, as I think Hydro Dams are really cool. But it's a great stop for the whole family. Very informative and interactive guided tour. 6 dollars per adult is one of the more reasonable admission prices you'll come across. As well as a very decently priced gift shop. Thanks BC Hydro!
